Tractor Trailer Accident Case: $351,000
A commercial truck driver’s brakes failed, and his truck crashed into a fully loaded tractor trailer. He was flown by helicopter from the accident scene to a Savannah hospital, where he spent weeks recuperating and undergoing multiple orthopaedic surgeries.
He suffered a traumatic brain injury, a broken femur, a lacerated spleen, and injuries to his arm and hand. The total settlement included $235,000 for the client and $116,000 for an administered Medicare Set-Aside account for his future medical needs.
