Your circumstances come first

Your employer has a process. You deserve an explanation.

Powers Law Group offers workers’ compensation guidance for people injured while working at an Amazon facility in Macon or elsewhere in Georgia. We can review the incident, your employment arrangement, and any paperwork you have received.

This is an independent law firm’s practice page. Powers Law Group is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon. Your circumstances—not reports about other workplaces—are the starting point for evaluating your claim.

Clear answers. Personal guidance.

Let’s talk
through your questions.

These answers are a starting point. Your circumstances deserve an individual conversation.

Ask About Your Situation

Official guidance: Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation.

What if a staffing company employed me?

Bring information about both the staffing company and the facility. Your employment arrangement and coverage need to be reviewed.

Is reporting to my supervisor the same as filing a claim?

No. Employer reporting and a claim filed with the State Board of Workers’ Compensation are different steps. We can explain what your situation requires.

When should I report a work injury?

Report it to your employer promptly. Waiting longer than 30 days may cost you benefits. Filing deadlines are separate and can depend on the circumstances; ask us to review them.

What does the consultation cost?

The initial consultation is free. We can explain the representation agreement, attorney’s fees, and case expenses before you decide whether to hire the firm.

A free consultation. A clear next step.
