A clearer picture of what changed.
Powers Law Group helps workers with neck and back injuries arising from incidents such as lifting, falls, and impacts, as well as questions involving work performed over time.
We review the medical evidence, the job duties, and the work restrictions. Our role is to help you understand the legal process and address disputes about the claim—not to diagnose your condition.

Clear answers. Personal guidance.
Let’s talk
through your questions.
These answers are a starting point. Your circumstances deserve an individual conversation.
Official guidance: Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation.
What if I had an earlier neck or back problem?
Be candid about your history. A prior condition does not answer the claim by itself; the work incident and medical evidence require individual review.
Can you help with a disagreement about returning to work?
We can review the written restrictions, the duties being offered, and the claim circumstances, then explain your options.
When should I report a work injury?
Report it to your employer promptly. Waiting longer than 30 days may cost you benefits. Filing deadlines are separate and can depend on the circumstances; ask us to review them.
What does the consultation cost?
The initial consultation is free. We can explain the representation agreement, attorney’s fees, and case expenses before you decide whether to hire the firm.
